How have you utilised your knowledge to help a client?
I particularly enjoy designing ground investigations to provide the information required by the design team (whether the design is being undertaken in-house or not), in a practical and cost-effective way. I think I really add value when presenting written information in clear and concise reports as attention to detail on all projects is one of my key strengths.
Ground engineering is considered a bit of a ‘black art’ by many within and outside the construction world, and I pride myself on my ability to explain complex processes in (relatively) straightforward terms.
Outside of work – What are your interests?
I am a keen mountain biker and occasional golfer. I have recently become very interested in all aspects of electric vehicles and green energy in general; after all these and other technologies will be a key part of the future, of everything we do.
